Iron and SteelSo I think a little explanation is in order for the titles. I decided to go for a little exploration of a local nature park. This park is actually within a housing estate and these huge steel lattice towers stride across the park with power cables strung between them. A few pigeons were flying around and some had settled on the steel giants. What caught my attention was the contrast of the criss-crossing mesh of man-made straight grey steel bars framing these natural rotund pigeons which almost matched in colour.
And the reason for the title 'Iron and Steel'? For some reason growing up at home the name 'pigeon' morphed into 'pig-e-ons' which then changed into 'pig-irons' (I have no idea how or why!), hence the title 'Iron and Steel'.
