I have been wanting to make a trip here for many years. Skomer Island is situated just off the Marloes Peninsular in Pembrokeshire, Wales, and is home to large populations of sea birds, including half of the worlds population of Manx shearwaters and about 21,000 breeding pairs of puffins (a record year this year).
